NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Governing Board of the Butte County Air Quality Management District (District) will hold a Public Hearing on October 22, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Butte County Association of Governments Board Room, 326 Huss Drive, Suite 100, Chico, CA to consider the Air Toxics “Hot Spots” Information and Assessment Act of 1987 annual report of program activities. The annual report includes a summary of health risk assessments and identifies and assesses toxic air emissions from facilities within the District.

The annual report mmay be reviewed at the District office at 629 Entler Avenue, Suite 15, Chico, CA  95928 or at the link below.  For additional information please contact Riley Peacock at (530) 332-9400, ext. 107. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Butte County Air Quality Management District (DISTRICT) Governing Board will hold a public hearing to consider proposed Rule 509—Subject Research Fees and Hourly Rate. The District is proposing to increase the hourly labor rate annually on January 1st by 10% in 2027, 2028, 2029, and 2030. The time, date, and location of the hearing is:

Public Hearing to Consider Adoption: Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., Butte County Association of Governments, 326 Huss Drive, Suite 100, Chico, CA and via Zoom.

Date of Proposed Rule Workshop: Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 2:30 p.m., Butte County Air Quality Management District 629 Entler Avenue, Suite 15, Chico, CA 95928 and via Zoom.
